TD Bank’s branch at Union Station, one of the most-traveled transit hubs in Canada and a designated national historic site since 1975, showcases a captivating content piece by design studio Float4 that celebrates the station's travelers and Ontario's diverse landscapes.
Displayed prominently at the branch's entrance is a large 12’ x 6’ LED screen, driven by a single 8k Realmotion™ server. What sets this installation apart is its dynamic essence; content evolves in real-time, mirroring weather conditions and seasonal changes, while achieving a captivating parallax effect.
Powered by Realmotion™, the display seamlessly integrates various data sources to reflect downtown Toronto's weather in real time. Clouds drift, rain falls, and lighting shifts, all synchronized with a weather API while lighting and color palettes adjust according to the time of day. The generative landscape unfolds across four layers, ensuring a perpetually evolving visual journey.
Moreover, thanks to a tailored CMS, the TD team can seamlessly manage content uploads and schedules tailored to their specific requirements. This combination of cutting-edge technology and creative control ensures an engaging and adaptable digital display.
