As visitors enter the Global Welcome Center of the One World Observatory, they are greeted by the awe-inspiring Welcome Wall. Powered by Realmotion™ technology, the monumental high-resolution curved LED wall serves as the gateway to the best views in Manhattan. This state-of-the-art installation seamlessly combines advanced technology, real-time data visualization, and interactive elements to offer a personalized and immersive journey for every visitor.

At the heart of the Welcome Wall lies a single Gold 16 Karat Realmotion™ server, which drives the captivating visual experience. As visitors approach the installation, they are treated to a unique and personalized moment. When each visitor's ticket is scanned, the data is processed and instantly sent to the Realmotion™ server that seamlessly renders a generative data visualization in real-time, ensuring a dynamic and ever-changing display that engages and captivates the senses. To ensure uninterrupted operation, a backup 16 Karat Realmotion™ server stands ready to take over in the event of any major issues.Leveraging this information, the server generates a welcome message in the visitor's native language, based on their country of origin. Additionally, it is possible to display a customized welcome message for VIPs or groups during special events, to create a truly exclusive experience.

Visitors are further delighted by an immersive spectacle as they approach the Welcome Wall. Interactive colored particles dynamically follow their movements, creating an enchanting and captivating experience. This interactivity is made possible through the implementation of two cameras that track movements within the space, seamlessly integrating with the powerful data processing capabilities of the media server. The result is a magical fusion of technology and human interaction, transforming visitors into active participants in the immersive display.

Beyond its stunning visual display, the Welcome Wall is an intelligent system that adapts to visitor activity. By analyzing the visitor flow, the pacing of the content and the displayed data are automatically adjusted, ensuring a seamless journey for all. The system also adapts to visitors’ origins. In addition to the personalized welcome messages, the LED display  presents global, regional, or national audience metrics , providing a unique perspective on the history of visitors at the observatory. This captivating visualization emphasizes the global connectedness between all the visitors who have converged  at this remarkable location, showcasing the power of data visualization.
